WASHINGTON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SECTION 900 Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Washington County, Mississippi at the Washington County Courthouse, Greenville, Mississippi, until 10:30 am on the 12th day of September, 2019 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for the construction of 0.095 miles of BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND APPROACHES on the PETES DUMP ROAD being known as Project No. ERBR-76(05) in Washington County, Mississippi. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS are on file in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of WASHINGTON County and the Engineer's office. This project shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be secured from Hooker Engineering Services, Inc., P. O. Box 368, Greenville, MS 38702. The cost is one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for plans and proposals, non-refundable. For this project bids will also be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Bidding documents can be downloaded under QuestCDN Project #6472425 at www.questcdn.com for a non-refundable charge of $50.00. Online bidding will not be available until three (3) days prior to bid date. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Issaquena County must accompany each proposal. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
